It’s been so long since my last post and I miss writing so I decided I will be active once again. I have a few ideas on what to write about, and what I want to learn and share with you.

One of those ideas is this new section which I will post every Thursday a quote that means something to me. Together we can discuss it.

Many things have happened these last months, many changes and emotions. Something I like to turn to is to quotes from other people. What is better than learning from those who have already lived?

I try to find quotes that fit my mood or the situation I am going through. Right now this one fits me like a glove. What’s the use of having so many ideas, even if they are bad ones if they stay in your head? You must act and do everything you want to do otherwise nothing will ever change, and nothing will evolve.

This one also reminds me of this quote by Marcus Aurelius.

“Waste no more time arguing what a good man should be. Be one.”

Thinking about it in detail, it makes sense. How many times have we not thought: I want to do this, I want to be this way, this could be an excellent idea. Your ideas could be good or not, but it is a fact that you can never know unless you try.

Now that the new year is around the corner let’s take advantage of it to make those changes we want so much in our lives. Think about what resolutions you have: Do you want to exercise more? Do you want to apply for a new job, eat healthier, spend more time with your loved ones, buy a house, or get married? No matter what you want to achieve, why aren’t you doing it? What’s holding you back? Is it within your power to act and achieve it? And what will be different this time than in years past? Why won’t you leave your goals this time as the euphoria of 2023 passes and we all go back to the routine we all know so well?
